Stir Fry Sauce

This is the same sauce Woon uses in their restaurants for their Beef Noodles. The recipe hasn’t changed since Mama Fong served these noodles to her kids when they were little. Great for any type of stir fry: noodles, veggies, fried rice. Also great for marinating proteins like meats, fish, poultry and tofu. Use sparingly, a few squirts will go a long way!

Ingredients:

About Woon

Woon began as a family run pop-up born from a desire to share their mother's (Mama Fong) original Chinese comfort food. They offer a simple menu and pantry goods influenced by Shanghainese and Cantonese recipes. When they moved away from home it was always Mama’s cooking that they craved. They all worked full-time jobs and hosted pop-ups in the Los Angeles area when they could. Now, they have a brick and mortar space located in Historic Filipinotown and now a new location in Pasadena.
